Christmas Tree Decpration Graces Stamp

On Nov. 19, Swiss Post will offer its customers the latest in a series of designs featuring Christmas tree decorations.

Shown at right, this year's 90-centime stamp features a cardboard church created in Bohemia after 1900.

Along with the ornaments featured on the 2000 and 2001 stamps, it was made from local materials that were in widespread use at the time and took the form of typical objects for that area, so that different objects were created in different regions.
